BUTLER — Altoona AAABA team Cumming Motors went 2-2 in Tri-State Baseball League games over the weekend.
On Saturday, Cumming beat the Butler Iron Bucks, 6-0, behind Chayce McCombie’s two-hitter, but then fell to the Iron Bucks, 6-4.
On Sunday, Cumming was blanked, 9-0, by the Butler Blue Sox, but came back to score three runs in the sixth inning and gain a 3-2 win over the Blue Sox in the nightcap.
Jacob Hensor drove in two runs in Sunday’s win, and Eli Wiles threw a three-hitter.

Johnston goes 1-1
Altoona AAABA team Johnston Realty split a Tri-State League doubleheader with the Butler Iron Bucks on Sunday at Juniata, falling 5-0 in the opener and prevailing 4-3 in the second game.
Johnston managed just four hits in the opener but came back with 10 in the nightcap.
Michael Turiano and Jake Hunter each had two hits in the win, with Hunter driving in two runs.
Turiano fired a complete-game three-hitter with eight strikeouts.
