Bowling: Head Bangers win inaugural Sawyer Motors No Tap Holiday Tournament - The Daily Freeman

SAUGERTIES, N.Y. — The Head Bangers won the Sawyer Motors No Tap Holiday Bowling Tournament at the Bowlers Club.

The Bangers won easily with a 4,285 pinfall with handicap. Bowl Is Life was runner-up with 4,076.

Members of the winning team were Damion Ferraro, Jim Martin, Scott Reynolds, Jeff Riozzi and Robert Sinnott, who will share the $1,500 top prize.

Jared Mayr rolled three 300 games for a perfect 900 series in the tourney. Wendy Silvestris also rolled a 300 and posted a tourney-high 721 triple.

Sawyer Motors sponsored the event, raising more than $4,000 to benefit Saugerties youths for Christmas.
