COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Thirty-five years ago, Jim Harbaugh guaranteed a win for the Michigan Wolverines over the Ohio State Buckeyes.
“We’re gonna play in the Rose Bowl this year, I guarantee it,” Harbaugh said then as the Wolverines’ starting quarterback in 1986. “We’ll beat Ohio State and we’ll be in Pasadena on Jan. 1.”
