Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. on Tuesday said its shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Aug. 11, following the completion of its business combination with blank check company Peridot Acquisition Corp.
The shares will trade on NYSE under the symbol "LICY" and warrants will trade under the symbol "LICY.WS" the company said.
The lithium-ion battery recycler also said the deal provided it with about $580 million in gross proceeds.
Ajay Kochhar, co-founder and chief executive of Li-Cycle, said, "Peridot's support of our mission to close the battery supply chain loop has been instrumental, and we look forward to our ongoing partnership with their team."
