With more than 350 subscriptions sold already in our 500 seat amphitheater, you won’t want to miss this event. Encore Academy of the Arts is back with a full semester of classes. Programs range for ages 3+ and include a variety of strings ensemble classes and private lessons for beginners to experienced musicians. It’s a perfect time to learn music at the garden. Closing the Gaps offers afterschool Motor Labs:
This new program will provide afterschool enrichment for students from Pre-K to 1st grade. Motor Labs promotes the development of executive function, cognition, social skills and academic skills. This is the perfect program for extra enrichment for your budding student! New Mommy & Me Classes!
Each day of the week is a new opportunity for mom and baby to learn and grow together! Hosted by Pinecrest Dance Project, you’ll find mommy and me in yoga, art, music, dance and gymnastics! Classes are offered weekday mornings at 10:00 a.m. You can also mix these classes with other Pinecrest dance project dance programs at the garden. There’s learning for the whole family! Girl Scout Badge Days:
Badge days are back! Our first badge day kicks off in September with our Brownie Eco Friend Badge! This badge will teach Brownies how to treat outdoor spaces with kindness and teach others how they can, too. In this badge we will take care of wildlife, explore outdoors, practice being an eco-friend, and much more! Register soon! These spaces fill up quickly. G.I.R.L Fest at the Garden!
G.I.R.L. Fest is an annual celebration of Girl Scouts for current girls, families, and the entire South Florida community! Unleash you inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) by engaging in hands-on STEM, outdoor, life skills and entrepreneurship activities. Family Arts Making at the Garden: Majestic Monstera!
In this Family Friendly workshop we will be taking inspiration from the ever popular philodendron Monstera Deliciosa! Using examples from nature, this tropical beauty will help us explore the artistic concept of negative space with its unique shape and holes. Students will be encouraged to work together, read between the lines and think outside the box white creating a unique work of art that reveals a majestic silhouette of the plant in the space between colors. Due to the large size of these leaves each group or family will collaborate to make one piece to share and enjoy!
