RF Bligh Madris (.267) and 1B John Nogowski (.195) each had singles. RHP Beau Sulser (6-6, 4.49) suffered the loss, allowing five runs on 10 hits, giving up four walks and two home runs while striking out three. Recent call-up LHP Cam Alldred (4.50) allowed one run on two hits in two innings of relief.

Not to be outdone, a day after hitting for the cycle, 2B Aaron Shackelford (.212) was 1 for 2 with a grand slam. SS Andres Alvarez (.324) and RF Matt Gorski (.235) each had doubles. Ace RHP Quinn Priester (7-3, 2.65) went four innings, allowing two runs on seven hits while walking one and striking out three.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 67-42) split a doubleheader with Clearwater (Phillies).
In the first game, the Marauders won, 4-2. 2B Jackson Glenn (.388) went 2 for 3 with a triple and scored a run. 3B Dariel Lopez (.258) was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk while scoring a run driving in a run. C Endy Rodriguez (.286) walked twice and scored a run. RHP Adrian Florencio (5-4, 2.53) threw six innings, striking out six and walking two while allowing two runs on two hits. RHP Oliver Mateo (5-2, 4.84) earned his seventh save, allowing one hit and striking out three.
In the second game, the Marauders lost to Clearwater, 5-3. 1B Alexander Mojica (.212) and SS Maikol Escotto (.238) were each 1 for 3 with a double. DH Endy Rodriguez (.286) was 1 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Alex Roth (1-0, 4.05) got the start and allowed two runs on three hits, struck out two and allowed two home runs. RHP Christian Charle (0-2, 12.60) took the loss, pitching two innings in relief and allowing two runs on three hits with two strikeouts.
