Decommitments are a natural part of the college football recruiting landscape with seemingly more prospects de-committing after each cycle. Some schools have reached the point where near double-digit numbers of decommitments have become the norm in a cycle.
Oregon, with two head coaching changes in the past four seasons, has experienced their fair share of decommitments with a five-year average of 6.6 decommitments, led by the 13 prospects who decommitted in the 2018 cycle.
While Oregon had four decommitments in the 2020 recruiting class that just finished up a few weeks ago, we decided to look at what has happened to the prospects that have opened up their recruitment over the past few cycles, which schools they've ended up playing for and how they've performed at those schools.
Today, we'll look at the 2019 recruiting class which had seven total decommitments. Here's how those players fared in 2019 after finishing up their first season in college.
