Its lobbying efforts were unsuccessful. Rivian is also considering Fort Worth for a new electric vehicle manufacturing plant that would represent a massive investment in the state’s economy.
Lucid is hosting a weeklong preview event at the end of the month that will be located at its Advanced Manufacturing Plant (AMP-1) factory in Casa Grande, Ariz. The company’s Lucid Air sedan has received rave reviews from Motor Trend which called it “absolutely a threat to Tesla.”
